I did a reinstall on my PC and as i try to install drivers for my processor i get the error:
"This system does not meet the minimum requirements to install the software"
This is odd as i had all drivers updated prior to the reinstall. It is an older PC but surely it should be possible to update drivers for my components?
Would really appreciate any feedback.
Sincerely
Trond Mjøs

As you've seen, the only drivers you'll find still available on the Intel site are for the processor's graphics engine. After that, you need to continue in terms of the motherboard and its chipset.
Your motherboard manufacturer will provide a version of the Chipset Device Software (a.k.a. INF Update) package that will optimally configure MS-supplied drivers for the chipset and a few of the processor devices. If they do not offer a version for Windows 10, let me know; I have versions in my archive that work with my 4th gen/8 Series motherboard and which should work with your board. It's important to install this before worrying about any other devices.
What other drivers you need should, with only a few exceptions, be automatically supplied inbox with Windows 10. If there are any exceptions, it will be devices provided by the motherboard that do not have drivers in the MS catalog. These must then come from the motherboard manufacturer or the device supplier directly.
Hope this helps,

Thank you for explaining this to me! Its not easy figuring out this stuff when you know jack all about PC and how it works. Ill get the motherboard drivers and work through that, hopefully that will sort it.
I guess the best long term solution is to retire my 9 year old PC, poor old thing deserves to rest. And i deserve an upgrade:-). Thank you guys for taking the time, much appreciated!

Actually, W11 requires an 8th gen or later, with few exceptions.
Ok, so you have W10. Specifically, what drivers are you talking about?
You need to be specific. What problem are you having? What "drivers" do you think you need?
