I recently found out that my processor still has drivers from 2006 so i tried to update them.
I tried to do them with the device manager, but it said that i already have the latest drivers.
Then i tried the intel driver update tool and it said that i dont have any drivers that i can update.
After that i downloaded the latest drivers manually only to get an error saying "This computer doesn't meet the minimum requirements to install this driver software".
I am completely clueless of what is going on.SYSTEM INFORMATIONComputer ManufacturerASRockComputer ModelB85M-HDSOperating System (O/S)Microsoft Windows 7 Home Premium Edition Service Pack 1 (build 7601), 64-bitOperating System Build (O/S)7601Operating System (version)6.1.7601O/S Language0425System RAM8.0 GB.NET Framework Version4.5.2CD or DVD DeviceTSSTcorp CDDVDW SH-224DB SCSI CdRom DeviceSystem Hard Drive OverviewSystem Total Storage Size:931.4 GBPhysical Drive0MakerST1000DMModelST1000DM003-1CH1Bus TypeSATAPhysical Drive0MakerST1000DMModelST1000DM003-1CH1Bus TypeSATALocal Disk E:\731.5 GBUsed space:168.6 GBFree Space:563.0 GBLocal Disk C:\199.9 GBUsed space:159.6 GBFree Space:40.3 GBMemory DetailTotal Physical Memory8.0 GBAvailable Physical Memory4.7 GBTotal Virtual Memory2.0 GBInternet Browser Internet ExplorerInternet Browser Version 11.0.9600.17239Internet Browser FirefoxInternet Browser Version 47.0.1GRAPHICS INFORMATIONGraphics Product AMD Radeon R7 200 SeriesVideo Memory4.0 GBCurrent Graphics Resolution1920x1080Current Color Depth32 Bits Per Pixel
Thank you for contacting the Intel community.
I'm sorry that you haven't been able to update the graphics driver on your system.
The driver available for the graphics on your system can be located here:
https://downloadcenter.intel.com/download/26682/Intel-Graphics-Driver-for-Windows-15-40-?product=814... Intel® Graphics Driver for Windows* [15.40]
I understand that you get an error when try to install this driver, to try to avoid this error we can do the following:
Uninstall the old driver on your system; please see https://www.intel.com/content/www/us/en/support/graphics-drivers/000005598.html Uninstalling the Intel® Graphics Driver and Intel® Display HDMI/Audio Driver, do not restart your system when the driver is uninstalled.
Once the driver is uninstalled, disconnect the internet, this is to avoid Microsoft to send any graphics driver update, then install the Intel® graphics driver manually, please see https://www.intel.com/content/www/us/en/support/graphics-drivers/000005474.html How to Manually Install a Graphics Driver in Windows 7*
I hope this can help.
