Cascade Lake-X and availability

Cascade Lake-X was scheduled for November 25, 2019

As of today, they are still not available in Europe (10980XE) and it seems that availability will only be available in a few months.

Why so much delay ?

Anyone even have an approximate date of availability in Europe ?

The availability of parts and the speed at which new parts become available is completely controlled by the distribution channel (the distributors and store fronts). Intel makes recommendations but ultimately has no control over how these entities make their decisions. I'll wait to see if Intel will release Cascade Lake-X with 22 cores and more (to compete with AMD CPUs)

The 10980XE is not worth it if we already have a 7980XE
