We are testing Celeron G3930TE CPU(TDP is 35W),we run TAT6(3.0.1024) or TAT5(5.0.1023) full loading ,the Package Power is always almost 20W,How can I make it reach its TDP 35W.There is no any PL setting for CPU,because when we use i5-6500TE for testing ,the package power can reach its TDP 35W.

Hello LHuan1,

Thank you for posting on the Intel ® communities.

To better assist you we need to clarify some information you have provided. You mentioned the package power and the TDP (Thermal Design Power) but they are different things; so, I would like to understand which one are you monitoring.

  • Also, by TAT6 you refer to Intel® Thermal Analysis Tool?

  • Are you having performance issues on the Intel® Celeron® Processor G3930TE? or it's only that the TDP/Package Power is not reaching the max 35W?

  • What do you mean by "There is no any PL setting for CPU"?

Thank you for your patience and understanding on this matter.
