Hi all,
I'm lucky enough to be setting up a reasonably high-end workstation for research purposes. It's going to look something like this:
CPUs: 2 x Intel Xeon w-2195 V4: 20 cores each = 40 cores
GPUs: 2 x Nvidia GTX Titan Xp
I got a quote for this, but it was suggested I upgrade to Xeon Gold 6138. Does anyone have advice regarding the "best" option here? Not too worried about extra features, I just want something that will keep up with the GPUs
Thanks,
Lewis

Thanks! It's difficult to see which one would perform better, given the different number of cores and different clock speeds. Is there an 'all-core' number for these?
