Couple of questions

Im thinking of buying a CPU and SSD.

CPU: Intel i5 4440 [4th Generation]

SSD: Kingston UV400 http://amzn.in/c0YWlSp or a UV300 http://amzn.in/jhJFZvK

My Current build is:

CPU: Intel Pentium G3258

GPU: Strix GTX 960

Motherboard: Asus B85M-K

RAM: Kingston HyperX 16GB

PSU: Corsair VS550

Case Fans: 2x Corsair AF120's and 2x Corsair SP120's

Case: Corsair Spec 01

SSD: Kingston 120GB

HDD: Seagate 1TB

Fan Controller: NZXT Sentry 3

Shall i buy a motherboard first than upgrading CPU? Or buy a motherboard later and buy CPU now..

I would say to buy the motherboard first; you can check the motherboard compatible with the Intel® i5-4440 and your existing processor here:http://processormatch.intel.com/MotherBoards/CompatibleBoards?componentName=i5-4440 http://processormatch.intel.com/MotherBoards/CompatibleBoards?componentName=i5-4440 I mean this is what I would do because a motherboard will be compatible with both of your processor, the Pentium and the i5 and in case you need to troubleshoot you have a spare processor and it is easier to test than pulling a board from a case and all the cables etc. I hope that can help. I do not understand what you mean by having "a spare processor" . The i5 4440 is LGA 1150 and so is the Pentium G3258...

So you mean i5 wont be compatible with my motherboard?

What I mean is that because both processors are compatible with the boards and if at some point you need to troubleshoot you have a spare processor to do it.

No, that's not what I mean, processors don't fail too often, for my point of view I would buy the motherboard first but that is up to you.

I'm sorry if I couldn't be very clear on this post but sometimes it depends on the customer's decision and what they need the system for. From my end I will buy the motherboard first but perhaps for somebody else it will be easier or better to buy the processor first, that depends of the situation and what your are planning to do. Sometimes for you to buy a good motherboard you will need to buy a new processor and ram to be compatible with it or viscera.
