Cpu overtemperature error

My computer will shut down after a little while and show "Cpu overtemperature Error" the next time you turn on. What is the problem, I have a Q8200 core 2 Quad bought 2 years ago, is it still under warranty?

Hi,

If you receive the error message after restarting the system, it may refer to overheating on the CPU. Make sure, in BIOS, it is not reaching or surpassing 71.4°C. If it is, I'd recommend following the troubleshooting found here:
