cacaocaca: Thank you very much for joining the Intel® Processors communities.

To better assist you, what is the model of the processor?

What is the model of the board?

If this is laptop, what is the model of it?

In order to try to fix this problem, we can try to do a BIOS update to the latest version of your board and also reset the BIOS values to defaults.

We can run the Intel® processor diagnostics tool, it does an overall test on the processor, if it passed the test it should be fine:

https://downloadcenter.intel.com/download/19792/Intel-Processor-Diagnostic-Tool https://downloadcenter.intel.com/download/19792/Intel-Processor-Diagnostic-Tool

Additionally, if you are using a desktop PC, for testing purposes we can try to test the PC with just one memory RAM stick, please make sure that you are using the proper memory RAM for your processor. Also, to swap parts will be a good option, either to test your processor on a different board or test your board with a different processor, just to rule out a possible problem with any of those components.

Remember the Intel warranty on the processor is for 3 years.

Any further questions, please let me know.

Regards,

Alberto R

cacaocaca: Thank you very much for providing that information and the picture.

I can see on the Microsoft forum that they already suggested many different steps, based on that, the best thing to do at this point will be to get in contact with Olivetti directly. This in order to try to do a BIOS update on the laptop or to get further details about how to fix this problem, they might be able to suggest more steps since they build it and also in the case warranty assistance is needed:

https://www.computerhope.com/comp/olivetti.htm https://www.computerhope.com/comp/olivetti.htm

And I am providing this other link because according to the information from CPU-Z, it says the manufacturer of the laptop is Clevo:

https://clevocenter.eu/suporte.html https://clevocenter.eu/suporte.html

NOTE: These links are being offered for your convenience and should not be viewed as an endorsement by Intel of the content, products, or services offered there.

Any questions, please let me know.

cacaocaca: You are welcome.

Yes, a BIOS update will be a good thing to try, but the thing is that if it is not done correctly it could damage the laptop. So, please get in contact with Olivetti directly to get the instructions of how to do the BIOS update and also for them to advice which are the proper drivers they recommend to install in order to try to fix this problem.

Any questions, please let me know.

cacaocaca: Thank you very much for sharing that picture.

Additionally, you can always run the Windows memory test, on the link below you will find the instructions of how to do that:

https://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/ff700221.aspx https://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/ff700221.aspx

If by any chance there is a memory RAM problem, if the computer is under warranty, the manufacturer of it should be able to assist you.

Any questions, please let me know.
