DIY T-Model /w undervolting etc.

First of all:

Hi, yeah I know the obviously difference, but my thoughts are why intel is publishing the T series, which are very power efficient compared to their speed, although you can undervolt or just set other power limits with software utilities on K or even non-K/T variants. For example with the 12600 and the 12600T

Dont get me wrong, I really like the idea but for about 20$ less than the non-T version or sometimes even up to 50$ more its not that nice deal.

Maybe I got something wrong and you guys can enlighten me.

Greetings Michael

Hello dragonfire5020,

Thank you for posting on the Intel️® communities.

Intel has decided to manufacture the T series based on a business perspective choice.

Hi,

I'm also curious about the T-series but find it hard to buy.

I'm not sure what you mean by

business perspective choice.

Are there any technical advantage in getting a i7-13700T over a regular i7-13700 and running it at lower voltage?

Thanks!
