After owning an i9-14900K for a month I have observed the following:
- Initial performance tested as stable with Intel-approved Turbo-boost settings and power limits provided two P-cores at 61x ratio
- Validated stability with 3dMark and MSI Kombuster
- Observed high packager temps (95C~85C) than typical with prior CPU gens, but core temps never exceeded 80C
- CPU averages ~45C during typical loads (gaming)
- After two weeks, PC stability plummeted without change to prior working settings
- CRC errors, Blue-Screens, System Restarts all observed with system uptime never exceeding 60 minutes
To troubleshoot system stability, the following was performed:- Full OS refresh
- Memory Hardware Testing
- Validated performance of CPU cooling solution
- Validated voltages supplied by motherboard
- BIOS Update
- CMOS Reset
- Reset Motherboard to Optimized defaults
- Increased line voltage stability to core
- Disabled Intel Boost Technology
Resolution required locking P-core ratios to 57x (+1 for one core) and E-core ratios to 44x
System now tests stable with a loss of ~5% performance of advertised specifications.
I'm looking for any resolution to obtain stability at advertised performance levels for this CPU.

Asus rtx 4090
Asus z790 apex encore
Gskill 7800 ddr5 32gb
Have tried everything. Random crashes in games- unreal engine games specially. Bluescreens, you name it.
