Is there a way to disable intel DDIO in icelake processors ?

We do bulk RDMA of large sizes, as a result DDIO is counter productive. Is there a way it can be disabled in icelake processors ?

We work with Hewlett Packard Enterprise. We wanted to check the performance of RDMA onto persistent memory by disabling DDIO.

We see articles such as,  https://www.pdl.cmu.edu/ftp/NVM/kalia-SoCC20.pdf which recommends disabling DDIO for pmem.

Can you let us know how to disable it in Icelake processor -

Vendor ID: GenuineIntel
CPU family: 6
Model: 106
Model name: Intel(R) Xeon(R) Platinum 8380 CPU @ 2.30GHz

Hello mashoodk,

Thank you so much for your response.

In this case, the model that you have is considered an OEM-only model; therefore, you will have to go directly with the vendor to whom the processor was purchased in order to get any technical information or documentation, once you have reached them out you can ask them to get the information for you by requesting a Field engineer to be assigned to your project, you can also open a ticket in our IPS support channel and request the information there, or even get in touch with the contact that HP has with Intel within the company.
