The Asus x302u laptop has an intel core i3-6100u processor. I want to increase the RAM from 4 GB to 8 GB. The operating system is Windows 10. Now laptop has 4 GB of operational memory DDR3 (data taken from the task manager, tab "memory"). According to the technical specifications, the intel core i3-6100u processor supports memory types DDR4-2133, LPDDR3-1866, DDR3L-1600. Question: to increase memory, is it possible to use DDR3 (which is installed) or it`s necessary to purchase DDR3L?

You need to use whatever your asus laptop requires, which I believe (from their specifications) is DDR3L 1600(O.C.) MHz SDRAM. You need to verify with ASUS.
