I have a Dell T340 that was/is supposed to support 32GB UDMIMMs at some point via a BIOS update.
I've hit the limit of what I can do with 64GB and want to upgrade to 128GB.
Digging through all of the Dell BIOS update patch notes I can't find anything that says they added support for 32GB UDIMMs.
What I have found in the latest BIOS update is this line:
Updated the Intel Processor and Memory Reference Code to version 188.D74
I've tried to Google that reference code to see if I can release notes or anything really and come up with nothing.
Assuming "Intel Processor and Memory Reference Code" defines what kind of memory is supported by a CPU, does 188.D74 support 32GB UDIMMs? For example, Kingston KTD-PE426/32G sticks.
