ESIF(1.0.10702.25133) TYPE: ERROR MODULE: IPF TIME 20989 ms

Yesterday I took my computer back from MSI repair center,They said my laptop hardware was fine,And no crashes or other errors occurred during the high overload test for three consecutive days.

They updated the BIOS and cleaned the cooling module, removed the original 8G-RAM, leaving the self-purchased 16G-RAM, and asked me to test again to see if it would happen.

But unfortunately, this happened again when I played Helldiver 2 yesterday.

One of their suggestions is to replace the self-purchased 16G-RAM, and the other is to disable intel dynamic tuning.

It's not clear to me whether to disable intel dynamic tuning as they say or replace with new RAM or SSD.

I also followed the driver download point released by MSI official website and updated all the drivers, but he still happens.

I have not made any additional modifications to my computer, everything is according to the original factory settings.

Below is a screenshot of my computer system and error report

This is the latest reply from MSI. They want me to restore my computer to factory settings:

ESIF components are part of the Intel Dynamic Platform and Thermal Framework (DPTF), which is commonly used to manage power consumption and thermal dissipation in laptops. It is responsible for coordinating hardware performance and temperature control.

And Unauthorized EsifEventRegister indicates that some module or service was denied authorization when trying to register an event. The problem may involve a problem with the system driver (for example, the Intel DPTF driver is not installed correctly or is damaged).

If this error occurs frequently and affects game operation, we recommend that you try to restore the laptop to the factory system and check if there are any abnormalities in the factory system

The situation seemed to improve after I restored the computer to factory settings and updated Windows 11 to the 24h2 version (originally the 22h2 version)

At least the computer overheating problem no longer occurs when playing Helldiver 2.

I will continue to test whether this method is effective, and the problem [ESIF(1.0.10702.25133) Type: Error Module: IPF] did not appear during this 2-hour game.

If it happens again I will update the post again

1.No, in order to solve the problem [ESIF (1.0.10702.25133) type: error module: IPF time 20989 milliseconds], I restored the computer to the original factory settings.

2.After restoring to the original factory settings, I only updated Windows 11 to the 24H2 version.

I updated the graphics card driver according to the solution you provided. In my 5 days of play this week, the same errors and crashes did not occur again. So I think it solved the problem successfully, so thank you for your help
