Frequent crashes 14900KS

Hi! I just built my new machine with 14900KS and I'm experiencing frequent crashes during Diablo IV and unable to run benchmarks such as Prime95 (immediate system restart) or intel XTU (App crashing without any failure output).

Its a completely new computer, so I have everything on standard settings. There is no overheating apparently, as system crashes even before high heat.

I and many other people had the same issues, the only thing that fixed it for me is getting a refund/exchange and buying not-Intel instead.

Alternatively you can try disabling HyperThreading and/or reducing the core frequencies but there is no guarantee that isn't a temporary measure.

Do not 100% trust the media, i had a replacement CPU that didn't crash but it degraded while playing a game that made the CPU average 110W, it's the voltage and frequency that degrades the chips and if the chip degrades it will eventually crash more and more games and apps if they have core usage and code patterns that provoke the degraded bits inside the CPU core(s).

Your system immediately restarting as if you had pressed the reset button is because x86 CPUs are built to do this when a triple fault occurs.(The CPU crashed, then crashed again when the OS was processing the error, then again when it was attempting to BSOD)

Thanks for the info. I have this super expensive MoBo and custom hardtube watercooling. So if there is any chance I can get it to run with acceptable power and no disassembly or new hardware, I will take it.
There is a good chance this‘ll be my last intel though..

You should be fully stable on anything with 55 to 60.

Thank you for this information! I got it to run with some power limits yesterday, shortly after that my display broke down 🤦🏽‍
So after I got my display issue sorted out I will try your solution. And I hope there will be no degradation, as stated above..

Hi, sorry for late reply. I checked this menu but it did not allow to change the values for IA Loadlines. They will stay on '0' (Zero). Enter key or mouse click won't have any effect.

Hi. Reset BIOS defaults and try again.

1. Set IA AC and IA DC loadline both to '1'. To be able to set them you have to scroll down to them using the keys on your keyboard, jsut like you used to navigate to those menus.

2. On the previous menu set "CPU Vcore Loadline Calibration' to "Turbo", menu in the photo:

3. Save and reset.

4. Test stability.
