[Gaming laptop with i7-7700HQ and nVIDIA GTX-1070 graphics] I get 103 degrees C core temperature when running 3DMark TimeSpy...

It is a Clevo P950HR gaming laptop.

Is this result really ok? Or should I contact the reseller?

Hello hensan,

Thank you for contacting Intel Support,

I understand that you are having problems with the temperatures of the processor, I apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused.

Now, we do not recommend to run third-party temperature or benchmark tests as they are designed to push the processor to the limit and could somehow affect it. For this, I would like you to download the following software:

https://downloadcenter.intel.com/download/24075/Intel-Extreme-Tuning-Utility-Intel-XTU-?product=6642...

After downloading it I would like you to run a stress test, this way we will make sure if the unit is working properly and the temperatures it handles.

I hope you find this helpful.

Regards,
