Hi,
I bought an Acer 4810TZG laptop last weekend, and figured out the CPU displayed in BIOS is different from what it should be:
In BIOS system, it shows Genuine Intel(R) CPU U4100 1.3Ghz
But the hardware vendor says the CPU is Intel Pentium processor SU4100 1.3Ghz, this is what i can see in the box.
So I am not sure what's the difference between these two, is it BIOS display issue or something else.
Meanwhile, i have used Intel processor identification utility to check the CPU type, it shows below:
Would anyone help me to clarify what's the difference between these two CPUs.
Thanks a lot! :-)

I have the same problem. I don't understand the diference.
How can you say U4100 doesn't exist if the Intel Processor Identification Utility show it?!

My laptop (ACER) has U4100 1.3Ghz and it has a pre-installed Win7 64bit. So I think the answer is yes.
