Hello guys, i got an HP PROBOOK 640 G1 woth HM87 PCH and a core i5-4200M cpu
I checked with several thermal monitoring sfotware and avery one shows pch temperature 0. celcius and after a while (around 30mins) it suddently shuts down as if it was an ivearheating issue
But it is not
Because i monitored latest temps before the shutdown and they were 42 °C
And the pc is not suffering from any overheating issue
Besides of all that i get an error code on device manager about the INTEL ME interface code 10 device cannot start.
Please help me guys
Thanks in advance

The ME is your problem. Consult with HP for making sure their bios is updated and the ME component is properly installed by their bios.
Of course, on a system this old, it is unlikely HP will assist you.

ME still not working (code 10)
I tried even with intel idetification tool that identifies the ME firmware version and some other info
It does not get anything it says unidetified hardware
Or somthing like that
It means that it failed to do a handshake with the ME.

And, this is where HP will have to help you recover the bios (which includes the ME). If they cannot do it, then you have a paperweight.
