No, you cannot upgrade from a i7-2600 to a i7-6700.

Even if they were socket compatible, they would not be bios and chipset compatible.

 

An upgrade processor must be socket, bios, and chipset compatible.   To determine what you can upgrade to, contact the motherboard manufacturer and ask them what processors are supported by their bios.  Then, you can select from those.

May i ask differently can i upgrade to a i7 6700 So the i7 6700 wont fit?

Thanks for explaining to change the subject did i hear SSD's speed up your computer?  would a SSD system and external SSD speed it up more?

SSDs provide better performance than a HDD.
