Help Me with Processor Please!

Hello Boys & Girls,

I know how to use computer but I don't know the inside of it, I hope you could answer my question [ It may be a st^pid question for you ].

I'm Getting an Gateway Intel Core i7 920 with 2.66 GHz[ For Games ] but I wonder if It's possible to change the processor for something better or there's nothing else made for this except the 2.66GHz ?... Because Everything else look's good to me except Processor Speed:

great forget about help.. my question is too complicated -.-

You can waste a lot of money on a faster i7 cpu or you can over clock the 920. I know lots of people that have their's running at above 4ghz. If you cooling it with air, oc it to about 3.8ghz and you wont have your cpu bottlenecking your gpu.
