Hey,
My friend get one i7 4790k and its FPO,ATPO is as follows.
FPO : l442b258ATPO : 2L427199A3479
I checked FPO on intel warranty web.
It says this cpu is i7 3770k.
This gets me confused.
So is this an Tray/BX i7 4790k or it is a fake cpu?

Al Hill,
Thanks,
One more question.
According to the FPO and ATPO, can you help me check its warranty status?

This is the Hello from Aaron Janagewen,
Nobody wants a remarked processor from Intel, and Intel does not want that to, I believe! I think you'd better make a contact support with Intel, http://www.intel.com/content/www/us/en/support/contact-support.html Contact Support . That might save your time and energies! Before doing that, I suggest you use the Intel official tool to obtain some useful information on your processor, https://downloadcenter.intel.com/download/7838 Download Intel® Processor Identification Utility - Windows* Version . You might also need a diagnostic tools from Intel to verify your processor too, https://downloadcenter.intel.com/download/19792/Intel-Processor-Diagnostic-Tool .
After you doing that, if you are still confuse about your processors. Per the information what Intel supporting people give you, you might possible contact with the vendors to seek a reasonable and fair way, such as refund or something else.
Good luck!
