Hi. I have updated my Asus Z170i Pro Gaming to the latest BIOS and inserted a I7 7700K. When I try to Boot with RAM in slot DIMM_B1 it get stuck shifting between DRAM LED and CPU LED. With RAM only in DIMM_A1 it boots normally.

With my I5 6600K it boots fine with RAM in both Slots. No bent pins.

Any idea whats wrong?

Try different memory.

Try updating your bios.

You installed the BIOS with this i5 installed, right? It should not be the i7.

Yes. Did the update with the I5 6600k prosessor and flashed the bios two times like Asus describes.

Not seeing anything out of the ordinary regarding this memory. I wonder if this processor you have has a bad memory controller. Was it new?
