High temperatures when gaming 80-90 *C on i7 8700k (no overclock) is that normal? ambient room is 25-30 *C Case has 20cm fan in front and top 12cm fan on back when idle is 42-50

Yea, but your 4th generation processor used solder to connect the die to the heat-spreader and your 8th generation uses only TIM (paste). This results in higher, more-volatile temperatures. These higher temperatures, if controlled (and your's appear to be) will not affect the lifetime of your processor.
