How can I use the maximum ghz of my intel core i7 6700 3.4ghz?

I am currently using 3.4ghz but in it's specification it says it has a max of 4.0 ghz I wonder if I could use the max capacity ?

The specification says it will turbo boost to 4.0ghz. That is, it will boost to that speed when needed:
