I have a laptop and want to switch to the more energy saving profile on battery, while use higher performance profile when plugged in to AC power. I know in XTU there is App-Profile Paring, but it only works for specific apps.

Hello Zuyang,
In regard to your concern, about App-Profile Pairing you can find some helpful information under the "Help" menu, on "Tuning your system", then go to "App-Profile Pairing".
Also, you can try with the next steps:
-Go to "App-Profile Pairing"
-Choose the options of the profile and click on "Pair"
-Then "Add Profile"
-And then click on "Turn On" or "Turn Off"
-***Once that you add the profile, the switch from battery and AC will be automatic.
Please bear in mind that Intel® Extreme Tuning Utility (Intel® XTU) is based performance-tuning software for novice and experienced enthusiasts to overclock, monitor, and stress a system.
Also, Intel does not support overclocking and any result of the changes you made with Intel® XTU, are under your risk.
I am looking forward to hearing from you.
Best regards,
Angie
