Hello CSG452,

Thank you for posting on the Intel® communities.

To continue with your request can you please provide the following:

1-Are you requesting this information on behalf of a company? If yes, please provide as many details as possible about the company that you work for.

2-Can you please let us know why you need this information? Is it for some sort of a project or for something else? Please provide as many details as possible.

3-When you say lot code/batch code do you mean the alphanumeric number that appears on top of the processor’s metal plate, as it appears in the link below?

Hi Victor,

1. Yes , I am requesting the  information on behalf of my current company .
2. We are trying to set-up a check list  for counterfeit parts on open market purchased CPU.
Checking the unit body marking, compared with the data we have from the supplier is one of the items in the checklist .

I searched on the internet and found below , but it does not have " J ."

The supplier provided us the COO is MY, (Malaysia)
Is "J" referring to Malaysia?

Note : I failed to download the "Intel Processor Identification Utility" due to my company security issue .
Appreciate if you can send me the infor (pdf file if any) if possible .

Thanks ...
Have a nice day .
