HowTo: Build Application to Display Intel® Xeon® E-2186M Processor Graphically

Have a workstation with Intel® Xeon® E-2186M Processor (12M Cache, up to 4.80 GHz)

Management doesn't really get difference between workstation vs PC from "a big box store" vs tablet. Extremely hard to justify new equipment.

Goal is to build application to visually represent  Processors/cores, threads in action solving a particular problem (AutoCad).

So Intel how do I start? Do you have an inhouse app for testing?

Hello BobParis,

Thank you for having contacted the Intel Xeon Community Support.

I was reviewing your thread and in order to have a better understanding I would like to clarify the information provided.

Are you looking for an official utility from Intel to monitor the performance of the cores/threads of this Intel Processor?

Could you provide us the Operating System you are using?

I will be waiting for your information in order to proceed with the next step.

Regards,

Good morning.

Window 10 Pro for Workstations

I usually program in Java for last 10 years and previous years have done C and C++. Those rustly skills right now.
Would build that utility but was asking if Intel already had one that showcases Xeon and differences/advantages of
that processor.
If Intel does not asking for guidelines, hints, etc out of Intel's experience.
Thank you
Bob

Thank you.
That processor is the main processor in my workstation laptop from Dell. I might be missing the point but I thought embedded meant low power and in pda, watches, etc.
Surprised with embedded but happy you sent me that link. Thanks
