I have ASUS ROG MAXIMUS Z690 EXTREME and i9-12900K
I do Android OS building on Ubuntu and I alway get

clang-12: error: unable to execute command: Segmentation fault (core dumped)
clang-12: error: clang frontend command failed due to signal (use -v to see invocation)

this error if i set cpu freq to 5.0 Ghz but it doesn't give any error on 4.9 Ghz and lower freqs

Hello Sukrut4778,

Thank you for posting on the Intel® communities.

I am sorry you are having issues with your processor. I'll be glad to assist you.

Please provide the following information:

  • What version of Ubuntu are you currently using?
  • Are the errors showing up when running a task in specific? If so, what is it?

As well, please provide a report using our Intel® System Support Utility for Linux (https://www.intel.com/content/www/us/en/download/18895/26735/intel-system-support-utility-for-the-linux-operating-system.html?)

Look forward to hearing from you.

Best regards,
