I got a fairly low cpu bench mark on cine r15 at 729 when the usual i7 6700s hit 836, is there a way to fix this or is it just silicon lottery?

Actually, you need to look at your BIOS configuration...

Parameters related to processor performance. For starters, just try going into BIOS Setup and resetting the configuration to optimal defaults. Board manufacturers often setup these defaults to provide best performance (in case they are benchmarked right out of the box).

Well, so much for that. I guess you will need to look into the parameters provided and set them up yourself.

You do understand that most of the scores that you see on these sites are folks with no lives bragging about the great scores that they were able to attain (through overclocking), right?
