I have a T320 Dell Server that comes with Intel C600/X79 Series Chipset, I what to upgrade my actual Xeon Processor to a E5- 2697v2 is it compatible?

My Server has a 07C9XP PowerEdge T320 motherboard

It came with a Chipset Intel(R) Xeon(R) CPU E5-1410 0 @ 2.80GHz

CPU Speed 2.80 GHz

Then, I would install the bios, then install the processor.

You need to ask Dell what processors are compatible WITH THEIR BIOS. Then, you can select from those processors.

An upgrade processor must be socket, chipset, AND BIOS compatible. Only dell can tell you that.

Helo thanks for your response, the last Bios Update from Dell says its Updated for Intel Xeon Processor E5-2600 v2 Product Family Processor Microcode to version 0x42D

RALbi, I'm in the same spot as you were. Were you ever able get the E5-2600 v2 processor to work in your t320?
