I have a desk top which has intel core 2 duo cpu t8100 processor. Can I download intel core i3 to upgrade my processor?

No, you cannot "download" ANY processor.

 

You have to ask the desktop/motherboard manufacturer what processors are compatible with THEIR BIOS.

Then, you can select from those processors.

An upgrade processor must be socket, chipset, AND BIOS compatible.
