I have a i5-3350p processor how do i tell what revision it is, Rev E1 or Rev no.

Jump to solution

Hi All

Just new to this forum. Have a i5-3350P processor that I wish to install on a new motherboard due to being fried.

Question: There are two i5-3350P shown Rev E1 & Rev No. Due to selecting a M/B for replacement I am considering a MSI H61M-P31 (G3) Cost is a main factor for selection. Any comments appreciated.

Hi rerun: Thank you very much for joining the Intel® Processors communities. We will do our best in order to assist you.

According to our information the revision for this processor is E1 for all the different versions, tray and box units, please look for step on the link below:

http://ark.intel.com/products/69114/Intel-Core-i5-3350P-Processor-6M-Cache-up-to-3_30-GHz http://ark.intel.com/products/69114/Intel-Core-i5-3350P-Processor-6M-Cache-up-to-3_30-GHz

The board actually works with revision E1:

https://www.msi.com/Motherboard/support/H61M-P31-G3.html# support-cpu https://www.msi.com/Motherboard/support/H61M-P31-G3.html# support-cpu

You mentioned there are 2 Intel® i5-3350P processors shown, where are you seeing that information, could you please provide a link?

Any further questions, please let me know.

Regards,

Alberto R
