Good day guys.

I'm in trouble because of MCE(this force all turbo clock as maximum)

I thought the technique support non-K cpu too such as i5 8400.

Some people says no.

which is right?

Thanks for answer.

Hello TrialVersion,

Thank you for joining the Processors Community.

Could you please let us know what do you mean by MCE?

Multicore Enhancement. Asus started calling the word as MCE forcing all the cores at maximum clock even use 6 cores.

So, My question is when I use i5 8400, this isn't K version. If I set all core clock as 40 with non K version, can I get 4.0 clock? while I'm using 6 cores fully

Thanks.

TrialVersion, thank your very much for that information.

In this case Intel® does not recommend overclocking since it will void the warranty of the processors, so for this reason from our end there is no documentation if such method can assure to reach that frequency. Our suggestion is to check third-party overclocking sites in order to get more information from peers that might have tried this on their units.
