I have an Intel I7-8550u 1.80 Ghz ASUS Laptop. My Intel Turbo Boost is 4 Ghz. After every recovery of my Windows 10 64 Bit there is, my Turbo boost stays on only 1.99 Ghz. Everything is up-to-date and I can't change it anywhere, not even in my BIOS.

My gaming is serious lagging. That was never a problem.

Have you updated your bios?

What version of Windows 10? 1909? 1903?

Everything, and I mean everything is up-to-date. BIOS, Drivers, literally everything. There is just nothing more I can do. There don't exist drivers or programs for this. It's literally

impossible to change this. Even the support desk of ASUS keep saying do a recovery of your windows. I already did them all. Nothing works. My BIOS is the newest version btw.

Turbo Boost is only available when power envelope, temperature margin, etc. allow. You are likely seeing power limiting through ACPI. This is a BIOS issue. You need to contact ASUS about this, not us.
