i have removed the Intel Management Engine software from my Windows 10 - 1803 PC. this seemed to fix it the first time but now has exceed 109GB and still climbing. I cant open the log to find out if there is a problem as it is so HUGE! From a search on the internet i see this has been an ongoing problem. When can we expect a solution?

Sounds like you haven't completely removed the ME software. You did this from Apps & Features, right? Doing so from Device Manager is not sufficient.

that's correct. I have now disabled the Intel(R) Management and Security Application Local Management Service. Then i was able to delete the log file.
