On a intel DP55KG extream mobo with an intel core i7 cpu 860. When I turn on the computer I get overheat warning beeps, when I press the reset button the computer starts with message ( The processor was shutdown due to overheating) while running temp is @ 30 degrees celsius. Is the some kind of delay for the pump to start?

Hi zen221,
The BXTS13X Liquid Cooling Thermal Solution is fully compatible with the processor. Please verify if it is properly attached to your motherboard according to the information below.
http://www.intel.com/support/processors/sb/CS-034340.htm Desktop — BXTS13X Liquid Cooling Thermal Solution Installation Instructions
The processor and motherboard support memories of DDR3 1066/1333/1600MHz.
The pump of the liquid cooling starts working since the beginning, touching the top of the pump, you can feel the water moving.
Regards,
Mike C

It is working the problem is when I first turn on the computer I get the overheating beeps, if I press the reset button the computer it starts. If I do a soft reset it starts normally. If I power off and turn it back on the issue is there again. I've had this motherboard and processor for a few years now. I was using a corsair H100i until it stopped responding to it's software. Corsair suggested a replacement but I decided to use the TS13X. I tested the processor with "Intel Processor Diagnostic Tool 64bit\Win-IPDT64.exe" it passed everything. I was on chat with Intel support and the conclusion that we came to other than testing the processor and updating the BIOS was to reseat the memory and then try to reseat the processor.

Hi zen221,
It is necessary to narrow down the issue first. Your processor is over clocked now. According to Intel® Processor Diagnostic Tool.
--- Reading CPU Frequency ---
Expected CPU Frequency is --> 2.80
Detected CPU Frequency is --> 3.29229
Please change BIOS settings to default, Processor Base Frequency is 2.8GHz (4 Cores), Let see the behavior. Over clocking produces random issues.

Check the power to TS13X, try different connector.
