I3-10100F Reaching 80C during gaming sessions. Is it safe?

I know it is below the maximum operating limit, but my fan starts making a whirring noise everytime it reaches high temps. I have read that it happens at high temperatures. Will this damage my CPU?

No, that temperature, if it's going no higher for any appreciable time, is just great. Nothing to worry about.
