Hello
When i was using Stock cooler i used XTU To keep Temps under control, have since upgraded Cooler to Arctic Freezer 7x, don't believe i need the XTU Settings anymore with possibly a bit better cooler.
Do Not Wanna overclock, just run my I7 10700 as stock settings, and use as temps allow the included turbo boost at times only
How do i reset XTU to Default settings or do i simply uninstall it and remove it, and clean out the left overs? as when i run intense programs, in Hardware monitor it shows Power limit exceeded, and such, UEFI bios is at default already

PatTI7, Thank you for posting in the Intel® Communities Support.
In reference to your inquiry, since the UEFI BIOS is at default settings already:
You just need to uninstall the Intel® XTU application following the instructions on the link below:
Any questions, please let me know.

Ok Searched for XTUService (Not found) at all, checked for the other directories, deleted 2 Intel XTU directories, rebooted system, so hopefully all is good now, seems only had the 2 leftover folders in Program Files, and 1 in X86 area of Program files, otherwise i don't see any other XTU References left

PatTI7, Thank you very much for letting us know those details.
Perfect, that should be enough for you to be able to use your Intel® processor at stock configuration with the default BIOS settings.
