Few days ago I bought an 11700k to change my 10th gen I5. I updated bios, reset cmos, do everything possible to make a fresh start. Still pc won't start. Mb lightens up, disk drives start to power up and that's all. Usb not powered and BIOS post message is "00" which means "cpu not correctly installed". So any of Intel officials can provide me with solution or at least info can I run my system with this cpu or it a waste of money. Thanks ahead

Did ASRock specifically release a BIOS for this board that adds support for 11th gen processors? Is this 11700K (now) included in the list of supported processor? If not, then no, you cannot use this processor.
You're not the first to make this mistake in your purchasing investigation (if that's any consolation),

All I can suggest is contacting ASRock. It's their board and BIOS.
