I7-3770 MOBO ISSUE

Hi guys first time PC builder here

I have a old pc , im going to use the processor from it and need myself a mobo that can support 3d gen i7 processer as well as having PCIE 3 slot, just wanted suggestions before committing

There are hundreds, if not thousands, of motherboards that support 3rd gen processors.  The thing to keep in mind is that the motherboard bios must support your processor.  Remember, a processor must be socket, chipset, and BIOS compatible.  Only the motherboard manufacturer can confirm bios compatibility.

Are you looking for a new board?  If so, Intel has not made desktop boards since 2013.  So, you would need to ask the various board manufacturers for compatibility.

For old boards, that auction site might be a place to look.
