Hello @Captain7
Thank you for posting on the Intel️® communities. I sincerely regret that this has happened to you. We would be more than glad to help you with your issue.
In order to have a better understanding of your issue, please provide me with the following:
1. Can you specify the exact error messages or symptoms you observe when experiencing crashes in CS:GO and Fortnite with hyperthreading enabled on the Intel Core i9-13900K?
2. Have you encountered similar crashing issues in other applications or is it specific to gaming with hyperthreading?
3. What graphics card are you using, and are its drivers up to date?
4. Have you monitored the temperatures of your CPU and GPU during gameplay to ensure that overheating is not a contributing factor to the crashes?
5. Are you running the latest firmware/BIOS version for your motherboard that supports the Intel Core i9-13900K?
6. Have you experimented with disabling hyperthreading to see if the crashes persist, and if so, does the issue still occur?
7. Are there any recent changes or updates to your operating system, such as Windows updates, that coincide with the onset of the crashing issues?
Please download and scan your system using our tool, Intel® System Support Utility so we can help check your system info first. Once finished downloading, open the tool, click on scan 'Everything', click next, then save the system information to a .txt file. Please provide the .txt file.
This document will be necessary to check your entire system, in order to find possible errors or incompatibilities.
Also, as part of our troubleshooting steps, please follow the next steps:
Troubleshooting steps:
For ASUS or Gigabyte motherboard:
1. Install XTU and run AVX2 test, if AVX2 test failure is seen.
2. ASUS: Please change BIOS settings:
· Advanced (F7)
· AI Tweaker
o SVID Behavior: Change to “Intel’s Fail Safe”
Reboot the OS and run XTU test again and if the AVX2 test can pass.
Run games and see if the issue happens again.
3. Gigabyte: Please, change BIOS settings:
In BIOS find "Dynamic Vcore" option, change it from Auto to +0.005
Increase the DVID by +0.005 and reboot OS, until the game crash disappears.
Run XTU test again and if the AVX2 test can pass.
Run games and see if the issue happens again.
Best regards,
Isaac Q.

Hello Captain7
Thank you for your reply.
We appreciate the information provided, however please, let us know if the troubleshooting provided worked or not.
Have you attempted running the system using only the CPU, excluding the GPU, to identify whether the primary issue lies within the CPU? Additionally, if feasible, could you perform a swap test with your processor? This involves testing it on a different system known to be in working order or using another confirmed operational CPU on your PC to determine if the problem originates from the CPU or another component of the PC.
