I9 14900K high Vcore Voltage after microcode update

Hello,

I recently bought a 14900K after my 14700K degraded because of the issues. But with intel claiming the latest micocode fixed the issues I thought I would give it another try with the i9.

However I see on intel XTU that my cpu is requesting 1.5+V during gaming (playing path of exile)

Is this normal behavior or is this too much for the intel default settings and the latest microcode ?

Just curious because i don't really want to RMA another cpu.

I added a log from xtu while playing for a bit so u can see how the cpu behaves.

The latest 0x12B microcode for Raptor Lake CPUs is intended to limit the Vcore voltage to a maximum of 1.55V. Vcore is a single value applied to all cores. The voltage that is listed for each core is VID which is the voltage requested by the core. There is a difference between what each core requests and what is supplied by Vcore. The voltages in your monitoring file looks to be within tolerance and I don't think you need to be concerned about how your processor is operating.
