Hello,
Before two weeks I upgrate my PC to I9 14900K, ASUS ROG Maximus DARK HERO, Corsair Dominator Plarinum 6400MHz, Corsair H150i Elite XT, Coolermaster HAF 700 EVO with 10 fans 120mm outake fans ( 6 dedicated to the Cooler push-pull) and 2 intake 200mm fans, those are my main specs.
I use Thermal Grizzly paste Kryonaut.
My BIOS temps are 45-50C, my idle temps are 30-40C normal, but when I play sometimes it goes up to 100C not all times, and Cinebench 20 I hit 100C at P cores (not all 8 cores) in seconds, I don't talk about cinebench 23 cause I'm afraid to run it 10 minutes of stressing for sure it will shut the PC down for protection.
It shut down twice for overheat protection 1rst before I start 3D MARK and 2nd when I get in to a game.
Is that CPU behavior normal?

I forgot told you at Boot-Up or Reboot I see at core temp temps at P cores 80-90C for a few seconds.

The voltage is 1.421 by default.

In order to have a better understanding of your issue, please provide me with the following:
1. What specific games or applications are causing the CPU temperatures to spike to 100°C, and does this occur consistently with certain tasks?
2. Have you observed any changes in the CPU temperatures after the recent upgrade, and did you encounter similar overheating problems with the previous configuration?
3. Can you provide details on the cooling setup, such as fan configurations, airflow, and the thermal paste application, to ensure optimal cooling performance?
4. Are there any overclocking settings applied to the CPU, and if so, have you experimented with reverting to default settings to observe any impact on temperatures?
5. Have you checked for any potential BIOS updates for your ASUS ROG Maximus DARK HERO motherboard, as these updates may include improvements related to thermal management and overall system stability?
6. Did you overclock the processor? Please note that if the system was overclocked, including voltage/frequency beyond the processor-supported specifications, your processor voids the warranty.
Also please consider that the T-junction for this CPU is 100°C, Junction Temperature is the maximum temperature allowed at the processor die. So based on this the temperature is under expected parameters.
However, if you want to try to fix this issue, here are some troubleshooting steps regarding overheating issues:

Please download and scan your system using our tool, Intel® System Support Utility so we can help check your system info first. Once finished downloading, open the tool, click on scan 'Everything', click next, then save the system information to a .txt file. Please provide the .txt file.
This document will be necessary to check your entire system, to find possible errors or incompatibilities.

Hello,
1) Last game I show 100C was AVATAR
2) No I didn't have high temp problem with my previous CPU who was I9 10900K
3) Corsair H150i Elite XT, Coolermaster HAF 700 EVO with 10 fans 120mm outake fans ( 6 dedicated to the Cooler push-pull) and 2 intake 200mm fans. I use Thermal Grizzly paste Kryonaut.
4) I never OverClock my CPU I know it may harm it besides if I had it OC those temp they may be normal so I use stock frequency from P cores at 5.7GHz and E cores at 4.4GHz.
5) I have the laest BIOS installed with nothing changed except XMP1 and fans calibration.
6) I will never oveclock this "beast" with my RTX 4090 I have the FPS I need in games.
AS for the TJ I'm reaching 100C in seconds when I run cinebench 20 eg I'' afraid to run cinebench 23 cause as I wrote at my first post I think it will shut down the PC for protection as it does it twice once when I'm stating 3D mark and second when I'm lauching a game.

1) I frogot told you the Cinebench 20 who in 1-2 seconds goes up to 100C I'm afraid to run cinebench 23 cause I think it shut down my pc for protection of overheating cause the bench stress the CPU for 10 minutes

I lower via Intel Xtreme utility the voltage of my CPU firts -0.05 then 0.10 and I go up to 0.50 but the temps at Intel Xtreme bench again hitting 100C, I think lowering the voltage I will lower the CPU temps. I do it at simple mode.
I attch screenshot who I lower the voltage 0.25 but I don't press this time apply I did it to show you, everytime I lower it I do it this way. , because I don't know if it must write only the voltage or the word multiple sometimes it appeared multiple but I was afraid to press apply because I din't know excaxtly what I'm doing.

To be clear, just for the photo, I didn't press apply when I was undervolting I was pressing it, I dind't pressed only when the word multiple appeared, which I didn't know what it was doing
Then I went to the XTU advanced mode and from there I lowered one by one of their P cores to 0.25 and the E cores but nothing changed in the temperatures when I stress my PC even for a few seconds.
