INTEL CPU Core i5-12400F and Windows 11

Hi all,

As of now, the above processor is not on the supported list.

Is it because it is still new?

Or is any part of the product feature not up to par with Windows 11 requirements and it will, most likely, never be supported?

If you can advise I will be thankful!

Interestring....   None of the i5-12400 processors are on the list.    You will have to ask Microsoft why.   It is, afterall, their list.

I did ask MS customer support via chat, got the useless “ gee that processor is not on this list, but the list gets updated periodically so you can check once in a while, I have no idea why or when, have a nice day” response.

It’s very strange as it is a new and popular chip…

Have you tried to install W11 on that processor?  Could be that Microsoft is just lazy and has not updated the list.

Hi not yet, as I am upgrading my motherboard and processor and was seriously considering this one given the good reviews...
