An Acer laptop i7 8550U 8GB works properly but if it is left about 10 minutes without any action, its screen goes blank and can not be awaikened, you need to switch it off and start it up again to continue your work.

Thank you for posting on the Intel️® communities.

To have a better understanding, please share with us the following information:

  • What is the model of the laptop?
  • Which Operating systems did you test?
  • Which different drivers did you use?
  • Did you use both OEM and Intel drivers?
  • If you used different Windows builds, please share the versions
  • Provide the Intel® System Support Utility (Intel® SSU)
    • Download the Intel SSU https://downloadcenter.intel.com/download/25293/Intel-System-Support-Utility-for-Windows
    • Open the application and select "Everything" click on "Scan" to see the system and device information. By default, Intel® SSU will take you to the "Summary View".
    • Click on the menu where it says "Summary" to change to "Detailed View".
    • To save your scan, click on "Next", then "Save".
