Dear Intel support,
I found different info in the web about specs for Intel 4004 and 8008.
Since I need them for a publication, I would ask if we can get any expert to answer clearly about those (this would be useful also to start spreading the correct answer).
Here: https://www.intel.com/pressroom/kits/core2duo/pdf/microprocessor_timeline.pdf
and here: https://www.intel.com/pressroom/kits/quickreffam.htm
You have Intel 4004: 108 KHz and Intel 8008: 200 KHz
But on this other source: https://download.intel.com/pressroom/kits/IntelProcessorHistory.pdf
You have Intel 4004: 108 KHz but Intel 8008: 500/800 KHz
So far it seems at least you agree on the Intel 4004, but on Wikipedia: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Talk%3AIntel_4004#Corrected_clock_speed_again
one contributor argues 108 KHz for Intel 4004 is clearly wrong (looking at the processor's specs).
I know that's probably not a question that interests much since is not related to selling products but I hope you can consider this question to have "scientific" importance and take it to some technical expert who can dig into it make some clarity.
Thanks in advance for your help.

Hello fenz,
Thank you for submitting your question on this Intel® Community.
Due to these products being discontinued, Intel Customer Service no longer supports inquiries for them, but perhaps fellow community members have the knowledge to jump in and help.
Thank you for understanding.

Hi @Victor_G_Intel ,
It seems I'm not having much success with this question. I was more hoping to get some support from you or any other Intel guy to forward this question to an Intel expert or suggest me another way to reach out to experts in Intel who could answer (I didn't find any other "channel" to ask this question).
Best regards

One year after Intel is celebrating the 50th Anniversary of the Intel 4004 and seems the clock speed is the one mentioned on Wikipedia (750 kHz): https://download.intel.com/newsroom/2021/data-center/4004-infographic.pdf
I also found this presentation: https://people.apache.org/~xli/presentations/history_Intel_CPU.pdf
Saying:
Intel 4004 -> Clock: 108KHz/500/740
Intel 8008 -> 800KHz
Wikipedia now says 740-750 kHz for the 4004 and 800 kHz for the 8008.
I'm still not sure if there were different versions of the same chip but I would say we can kind of agree the max clock speed for the 4004 seems to be 750 kHz (I hope Intel didn't mess up in the brochure for the anniversary) and 800 kHz for the Intel 8008.
I hope this can somehow help in case anyone has the same doubt I had.
