Hello,

I found 3 other threads and I know that E3/5/7 v1/2 are single Die Processors.

I want to order Server with followig CPU: Intel Xeon E3-1230v6 3.5 GHz 4C/8T

Can you provide me information whether mentioned CPU is MCM ?

It would be great to get list of all Intel CPUs with such information as this subject is crucial regarding Oracle licensing.

Hello ser_andrzej,

Thank you for joining the Processor community.

Regarding your suggestion, normally this type of information is found in the processor datasheet. However, for the processor in question the datasheet is not available yet. You can corroborate that here: https://www.intel.com/content/www/us/en/processors/xeon/xeon-technical-resources.html Intel® Xeon® Processors Technical Resources. So, at this stage I will proceed to review your inquiry and keep you updated as soon as I have more information about this.

Regards,

Amy C.

/thread/117599 ser_andrzej, thank you for your patience.

I have confirmed that the Intel® Xeon® processor E3-1200 v6 product family is not MCM, it is single chip.

Regards,

Amy C.
