Intel Core Ultra 9 285K availability NA

11-02-2024,

When will there be a new shipment of the Intel Core Ultra 9 285K for north America (NA)?

I find very strange that any stock any retailer or online shop shows as out of stock. I have not even noticed any pre-order option left or right. That all sounds very 'fishy' to me.

Will there be enough this time around for enthusiasts like myself to be able to purchase one? Also will the price go DOWN?

When will Series 3 come out?

Please advise, thank you.

You can order it online from Amazon now. Preorder that is. So the sale starts about a month after release date.

From when is your snap shot and where?

I am in the USA and it shows me that is incorrect, AMAZON only has posts of the Ultra 7 and Ultra 5, the Ultra 9,

I hyperlinked below e-tailers

I browse several e-tailers everydayNewegg, no stock no option to pre-order, B&H same as egg, Best Buy, same as egg, out of stock and no pre-order option, Amazon Currently unavailable. We don't know when or if this item will be back in stock.  Micro Center Sold out.

I even checked with the authorized distributor MOUSER.COM who has zero stock and an MOQ QTY 5.

It is pretty disappointing to see only the U7 and U5 for sale left and right as a big INTEL enthusiast since the mid 80's.

Perhaps we need to wait for REV 3 or an improved INTEL Ultra 9 385 series ?  From a few European websites its said that they might be available again around date 16th November, 2024?

Bummer. I have a state of the art high end motherboard waiting to get a new heart lol.

Thanks anyways and am curious which AMAZON that snap shot of yours came from as I have seen one on AMZ from a individual posted it for way over 825 USD.  yikes...I guess it may take another week or so...

This was from Amazon the same time I posted here. The delivery dates got pushed by a week after a few minutes, the the retainer changed from Amazon to a third party.
Luckily, I snatched one just in time. I agree with you, the Ultra 9 launch is not the best.

He's not incorrect; it's just that there's a very small window of availability.

Once every day or two, the US Amazon site shows "In Stock" for $599 sold directly by Amazon, but it's usually only there for a few minutes before Amazon's stock is gone, and it reverts back to third-party scalpers.

I managed to catch the "In Stock" window a few days ago, and snagged one for $599 (sold and shipped by Amazon) with an estimated delivery of 11/16 - 11/25.

There doesn't seem to be a predictable pattern, so you either have to regularly check Amazon, or use one of the stock-tracking sites out there that will alert you when Amazon changes to "In Stock."

Last week, my local Micro Center told me they were "en route" and expected them in "a week or two," and I read on another forum that someone was told by a NewEgg rep that they expected them to arrive 11/15, so between these retailer estimates, and the Amazon delivery date I got, my guess is that retailers won't actually start getting them until sometime next week.
