Hello I have a little Problem,

I bought a Brand new PC with an Intel i9-14900K, Rtx 4070ti and a watercooling system.

The System works totally fine and even while Gaming the Temperature Spikes at around 70°C so everythings quite normal.

The Moment I start Rainbow Six Siege the Cpu Temp. soikes to 80°C in Menu and to 90°C while ingame. I tried verify integrity of the Files, Reinstalled and lowered the grafics to an absolut minimum. The Game still crashes every time, and the last 2 Times I tried the whole System shut down.

Im out of Options Please Help :c

According to the test, the processor seems to be working properly. However, to narrow down the possible causes of the issue, you can try the following steps:

• Load the default BIOS setting in your system.

• Update Windows by going to Start > Settings > Windows Update.

• Start the system with the minimal configuration, which consists of the motherboard, processor, power supply unit, and one DRAM module.

• Verify the power supply.

• Test the memory by doing the following:

• Use different memory sticks.

• Ensure the memory is properly inserted.

• Use one memory at a time, since you have two memory modules.

• If possible, use a different motherboard.

• Reinstall the operating system with a fresh image.

In addition, I would like to ask you some questions:

1.Was your computer functioning well before? You mentioned that this is a new computer.
2.Did you make any changes to your computer before this issue occurred?
3.Did you overclock the processor?
4.Have you contacted the seller and reported this issue? Since this is a new computer, they might be able to assist you further with the physical troubleshooting of your computer.
5.What is the make, model and wattage of your power supply?

Let us know if you see any error messages when the system crashes. Also, since this is a new setup, please ensure that the drivers are up to date. You can refer to these links on how to troubleshoot this issue:

https://www.intel.com/content/www/us/en/support/articles/000028063/processors/intel-core-processors.html

https://www.intel.com/content/www/us/en/support/articles/000005746/graphics.html

https://www.intel.com/content/www/us/en/support/articles/000005791/processors/intel-core-processors.html

In addition, you can update the bios of your motherboard from the motherboard website because sometimes this is the possible root cause. For that, can you tell me the brand and model of your motherboard? Also, to verify if everything is up to date, you can send the ssu logs of your computer so we can check it. You can follow this link on how to do it: https://www.intel.com/content/www/us/en/support/articles/000057926/memory-and-storage.html

Hey Thank you sm for answering.

Every Driver is on the newest Update I always do this when Getting a new component.

The BIOS is on the newest Update aswell (msi mpg z790 carbon wifi). The Crashes still appear. I capped the fps to 144 that helped a bit but yea.

I attached the SSU files if u want to have a look at them.

I noticed that your bios is not up to date, as the bios version date from the ssu logs is 01.05.2023. Since this is a new setup, I recommend that you update the bios to the latest version from the msi website, which is 2024-01-18. You can download the bios from this link: https://www.msi.com/Motherboard/MPG-Z790-CARBON-WIFI/support . If you have any difficulty downloading the bios, you can contact msi for support.

I also see that you are using an i9-14900KF with no integrated graphics card. It is important that you keep your NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4070 Ti graphics driver updated. You can download the latest version from this link: https://www.nvidia.com/download/driverResults.aspx/218047/en-us/

If the issue persists, please follow the steps from the articles to diagnose the problem.

Still, when the system crashes, do you receive any error message or does it crash without warning? You can also check the event logs to see if there is any error message.

If you want to test your processor's performance, you can run the ipdt test. You can find the link here: https://www.intel.com/content/www/us/en/support/articles/000005567/processors.html . Then you can share the result.

Hey Sorry,

No the BIOS is at its latest update I just put the wrong file.

The Graphics Driver is always at the latest Driver.

I attached the files from the benchmark aswell as the new SSU files.

The Crashes appears without an Error Message, sometimes only Rainbow 6 Crashes and sometimes everything goes black and I have to manually shut down the Pc and restart it.
