This is an issue with the chipset drivers I assume.

I have tried uninstalling with the tool and without and reinstalling.

As soon as I open the assistant I get this warning.

Sorry, something went wrong while trying to scan.

This device is erring:

Resource Hub proxy device

This device is currently waiting on another device or set of devices to start. (Code 51)

Dependencies:
PCI\VEN_8086&DEV_7ACE&SUBSYS_00000000&REV_11\3&11583659&0&AA

I need to update the proper drivers.

Please help me fix the assistant.

Hello JimBillows,

Thank you for the update.

There is a lot of factor why the Intel® Driver & Support Assistant to have error in scanning your system. It could be the cache of the browser, the internet or updates. On this case, you can manually download the drivers and update your system.

Here is the link of your motherboard and the available drivers. If you have further questions, please contact them. Thank you|:

We know where to download drivers.  We would like to get the assistant fixed. Is that possible? Why would we leave it broken?

Do you not support your software?  We would like to get this fixed.  We only like to install and update the drivers we need. Is there a problem? Also from your response all of the information was included in my first post. Why ask for more info if you were going to refuse to help fix your software?

Hi @JimBillows

The Intel DSA is not very reliable tool. If you want to make it working again you need first to uninstall it using Intel DSA Uninstaller

Once IDSA is uninstalled, download and install the latest version.

Hello JimBillows,

Thank you for the quick reply.

We do support the software, however please also understand that since it is a web base application, there are a lot of uncontrollable factors that can affect it.

We have this documented link about the error that you encounter. Please try to open the link and follow the steps.
